After a brilliant season in which Carolina shined winning almost every competition she was involved in, there were rumours saying that she could have retired now, at the age of 25 and after ten years of senior competitive skating.
Although, Carolina had decided to keep skating in the competitive circuit until Sochi Olympics in 2014.
She said: "It won't be an easy challenge, therefore I hope you will keep supporting me the way you did through all of these years"
Indeed female figure skating of the next two years will be well more challenging than the past two: with the comeback of Yuna Kim and Miki Ando, the uprise of Ashley Wagner and Akiko Suzuki along with the new coming Russian wonders the competitions will get tougher and tougher.
Anyway, Carolina knows how to highlight her strengths and with maturity on her side, I hope she will keep on doing well as she did in the past year.
